Friends and family celebrated the 90th birthday of former minister and much-loved member of Ventnor Baptist Church, Bryan. Over 40 guests, many travelling from the mainland, enjoyed a buffet lunch followed by recollections from his three children, a slide show, and a fun quiz. The day ended with a car treasure hunt and pub meal.

On Christmas Eve at Ventnor Baptist Church, we gathered as a community, united in the joy of the season. Our special service celebrated the birth of Christ, a moment of togetherness and reflection. Following prayers and hymns, we shared a delightful Christmas Lunch, extending love and comfort to all.

Luke 2:10-11 (NIV)
"But the angel said to them, 'Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David, a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.'"

Surrounded by friends and family, we gathered for the annual Carol Service. As the choir lifted their voices in praise, we joined in hymns of adoration, celebrating the birth of our Saviour. In that sacred moment, the presence of God was palpable, filling us with peace and gratitude.

It was a simple yet heartwarming event, filled with handmade crafts, festive treats, and a sense of community. Guests enjoyed browsing through the various stalls, finding unique gifts and sharing smiles over cups of tea and cakes.

We enjoyed having friends and family at Ventnor Baptist Church for our Sunday Morning Worship. The service was taken by Rob Westall, a popular Worship Leader and Recording Artist. After the service we headed down towards Ventnor beach to sing and to share the Love of God.

We enjoyed Breakfast at Premier Inn in Sandown at 9am, followed by bowling at Sandown Pier.
